MIAMI, FL – Congresswoman-Elect Maria Elvira Salazar (R-FL) today announced the senior members of her team.

Tom Moran will lead Rep.-Elect Salazar’s office as Chief of Staff. Moran most recently served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV). Previously, Moran was the Chief Operating Officer for a national direct mail firm. In 2018, Moran managed the successful campaign of Carol Miller for Congress. In 2016, he served on the transition team for North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. Moran is a graduate of Clemson University and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Hayed Kure will be Deputy Chief of Staff and Scheduler. Kure served as Ms. Salazar’s Finance Director during her 2020 Congressional campaign. She previously served in the Office of Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL). Kure is a graduate of FIU’s Green School of International & Public Affairs.
Daniel Leyte-Vidal will be District Director. He previously served in the Office of Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL). Leyte-Vidal is a Miami native, an FIU grad, and served as Manager of Advocacy & Public Policy at the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation.
Nina Roque will serve as Director of External Affairs and Counsel. She most recently served as Executive Director of the National Women’s Business Council, a federal advisory committee that serves as an independent source of advice and policy recommendations to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Previously, Nina served as Special Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Labor and led programs for the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute. She is a graduate of Florida State University and of Hofstra University’s School of Law.
John Mark Kolb will be Legislative Director. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Congressional Affairs for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Kolb previously served in the Offices of Congressmen Jeff Denham (R-CA) and General Joe Heck (R-NV). Kolb attended Mississippi College and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations.
Rey Anthony will be Communications Director. He previously served in the Executive Office of Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. A Miami native, he is a two-time graduate of FIU’s Green School of International & Public Affairs.
